Here you will find answers to some frequently asked questions about the SiteStory mobile and web applications.
The average mobile data consumption is 30MB per minute of data upload at 720p video resolution.
The video resolution is 720p.
The maximum length for a single Story is 20 minutes. The app will automatically stop recording the story when 20 minutes have elapsed.
If you go back into the camera module, it stops the sync. You can click on the cloud Icon in the top right of the Story screen, which will restart the sync process. If this doesn't work, please close the mobile app and reopen it and you should see the sync restart.
Where is the Story stored?
The Story is saved to your device once you have stopped recording and is retained in your device storage after it has been uploaded to the SiteStory platform.
How do I delete old Stories from my device?
You can delete old stories from your device by selecting the Story from the Story List, clicking the "Spanner" tab and clicking the "Delete Story" button. You will be asked to confirm the deletion, and the mobile app will then delete the story from your device's local storage.
Important: Ensure that the Story has been successfully uploaded before deleting the Story. The green cloud tick next to the Story in the Story List confirms this. We recommend retaining Stories on your device for at least 7 days before deleting them.
