The SiteStory mobile app is designed to upload the Stories you record automatically, but occasionally, you may find that a Story has not fully uploaded. This is usually caused by poor cellular connectivity or an interruption during the automatic syncing of the mobile app with the SiteStory cloud platform and will be identified when an Admin Member tries to replay the Story in the web application.
This guide explains how you can re-trigger a Story upload.
Navigate to the My Stories tab in the mobile app.
2. Identify and select the Story for which you wish to trigger a manual upload.
3. Select the Spanner tab
4. Press the blue "Upload Story" button. You will be shown a confirmation dialogue, press "Upload".
5. You will then see the following indicating that the upload is in progress:
The sync progress dial at the bottom of the screen
The cloud sync icon in the top right corner
The sync icon in the phone menu bar
Tip: We recommend keeping the app open until the sync process is complete when manually triggering an upload.
