SiteStory's share feature allows you to generate and share public links for your stories with a click of a button. Once a link has been generated, you can share it via Email or any messaging service you use, such as Teams, Google Chat or SMS.

Note: If your SiteStory Workspace is integrated with your Traffio account, any share link you generate for a Story in SiteStory will also be available under the Booking -> Stories tab.

How to generate and copy your share link

Sharing a Story link is like sharing a news article or a YouTube video. You can paste the link anywhere, and anyone can watch it. Don't worry, though, the link you generate and share is very secure and will only allow someone to access the SiteStory Public view of your Story. This means they can only watch the specific Story the link relates to. They cannot see any of your account information and do not have access to your SiteStory account. 

1. Navigate to the Story for which you want to generate a link

2. Click on the Share button.

3. A dialogue will open showing a Caution message explaining that anyone with the link can view the Story. Click on Share.

4. The unique share link will load in the dialogue. Click the copy button to copy the link to your clipboard.

5. Now you can paste the link into an Email or message to share it.

Re-sharing a Story link

The Share button will change once you have generated the share link to indicate that a link has been generated and shared for the Story. You can click on this button to display the share link for the Story if you need to copy and paste it again.
