SiteStory integrates natively with Trafftrak. All you need to activate your integration is a paid subscription on both platforms and Admin user permissions. 

Companies running both platforms can push any Shift they want documented from Trafftrak straight into SiteStory as a Site, no manual re-entry required. The Team Leader assigned to the Shift is automatically assigned to the Site too, and if they don't already have a SiteStory account, one is created for them on the spot, complete with an invite email and a link to the mobile app. They're in the field and ready to capture a Story within minutes.

Note: Stories and Story Share Links are not currently sent back to Trafftrak automatically. To access a Story for a Trafftrak Shift sent to SiteStory, you must sign in to SiteStory.

Create your SiteStory API Token

You will first need to generate an API token for SiteStory, which you will use to activate the integration in your Trafftrak account.

Go to your SiteStory Workspace and navigate to Settings -> Integrations

Select the "Add Integration" button. This will open the integration selector dialogue.

Select the Trafftrak integration from the list and click "create".

The SiteStory API token dialogue will display. Copy the API token and select "Done".

You will now see the Trafftrak integration listed under your Integrations tab.

Activate your SiteStory Integration in Trafftrak

Once you have copied your SiteStory API token for Trafftrak, navigate to your Trafftrak account and select the "Integrations" module in your navigation bar.

Select "SiteStory" from the integrations list and paste in your SiteStory API token. Click save to activate your SiteStory integration.

Once you have activated your SiteStory integration, you can push Shifts to SiteStory to automatically create Sites. 

You can push Shifts from three locations in the Trafftrak interface:

1. The Home view

2. The Shift Board view

3. The Shift Details view

Once you have sent a Shift to SiteStory, a "sent to SiteStory" message will be displayed against your Shift.

When a Shift is sent to SiteStory, the Team Leader assigned to the Shift in Trafftrak is automatically assigned to the corresponding Site in SiteStory.

If the Team Leader is not currently a Member of your Workspace, they will be automatically added, assigned to the Site and sent an invite email with their Sign In details and links to download the SiteStory mobile app.
