The Sites module is where you will find all the Sites you create in your SiteStory Workspace. You can access the Site details and all the Stories recorded for the Site, and manage which members can view Sites and record Stories for a Site.

Note: Sites in SiteStory are the equivalent of a Job or Booking in your job management or scheduling software.

Your Sites

In your Sites module, you will find all Sites for your Workspace. The Sites are separated under different tabs based on whether the Site is Active, Scheduled or Completed.

Sites Tabs:

• Active - Lists all currently Active Sites. 

• Scheduled - Lists Sites that have a start time in the future.

• Complete - Lists Sites whose end time has passed.

• All - Lists all Sites in your Workspace.

Adding Sites

Sites can be added to your Workspace in two ways:

1. Manually - Add Sites manually to your Workplace

2. Automated - Sites are automatically added via integration with your job management or scheduling software. 

Note: SiteStory currently supports integration with Traffio out of the box. 

Contact us to discuss integrating with your job management/scheduling software if you do not use Traffio.

How to add Sites manually

1. Navigate to Sites.

2. Click on the Add Site button.

3. Complete the fields in the Create Site dialogue.

• Name - The site name. This will display in the mobile app.

• Description - The description of the Site.

• Ref - Your reference number for the Site. This will display in the mobile app.

• Date Range - Start and end date/time for the Site.

• Address - Address of the Site. This is a lookup field where you can search for the address.

• Lat - Latitude coordinates of the Site.

• Long - Longitude coordinates of the Site.

Tip: You can drag the location pin on the map to mark an exact location for the site after looking up the address.

4. Click the Create Site button to add the site.

Once you have created a Site, you can add Members to it. See the Adding Members article.

Sites Added via Integration

Traffio Integration:

SiteStory will automatically pull Bookings from Traffio and create them as Sites when you have an active Traffio integration for your Workspace.

The table below shows the field mapping between Traffio and SiteStory.

Members are automatically added to a Site created via integration based on your integration configuration.
